I have over 20 years’ experience in adult, adolescent and child counselling, professional supervision, group facilitation, lecturing, running workshops for trainee counsellors and teaching emotional literacy.
My qualifications include a BA in Psychology, a Higher National Diploma in Integrative Counselling, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a certificate in Play Therapy.
I am an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and am on the Accredited Voluntary Register.
As a person I am warm, friendly and empathic with a big family around Surrey and beyond including plenty of kids, grandkids, dogs and cats.
Since 2004, I have been practising as a counsellor, offering support to adults, adolescents and children.
I run a private practice in a log cabin in my garden, set amongst the trees with a warm, welcoming smell of wood. My unusual workspace offers a comforting retreat away from everything other than the birds and the squirrels.
I believe the therapeutic process begins as soon my clients join me there. The tranquil atmosphere allows us to relax and begin to unravel concerns in a completely private setting. To learn more about my counselling practice please see my counselling page.
